Interested in PhD research in Psychology, Cognition, Behavior or Neuroscience?

The VDS CoBeNe Doctoral Program emerged from an integrative and interdisciplinary alliance of four independent research areas in Psychological Science, Behavioral and Cognitive Biology, Neuroscience and the Cognitive Humanities. The research questions deal with the influence of social and ecological factors on human and non-human cognition and behavior, understanding its underlying cognitive, emotional, physiological, and neurological bases, and probing their evolutionary origins and development.

The mission of the Vienna Doctoral School in Cognition, Behavior and Neuroscience is to enhance academic and professional development of early career researcher, advance intellectual communication and scholarship across disciplines, and promote cultural diversity, scientific integrity, and international collaboration. VDS CoBeNe fosters structured doctoral education at the University of Vienna and creates an environment supporting interdisciplinary research and research training.
