Children meet science

16.04.2023

Researches who would like to present their topic to a new audience are invited to participate in the Children's University activities 2023.

There are two following participation opportunities in Children's University activities 2023 (www.kinderuni.at):

KinderuniWien (Vienna Children’s University) – 2 weeks every summer!

In workshops, seminars and lectures you can make your research topic accessible to children aged 7 to 12. This year’s annual topic is: "Climate change!". Contributions on the topic of "climate change" or on any other research topic can be submitted.

The section KinderuniWissenschaft with researchers from the University of Vienna will take place July 10-21, 2023 at University Center II (UZA II). If you are interested in participating, please enter all relevant data for your course(s) into the online administration system for teachers by April 16, 2023 at the latest. Information and tips on teaching at Vienna Children’s University can be found here.

Kinderuni.online – all year round in the virtual world!

The interactive website kinderuni.online provides a sustainable format for children and school classes to discover science, year-round and nationwide. Contributions in the form of videos, podcasts, papers, presentations or posters can be submitted at any time to info@kinderuni.at. You can find information about online contributions and support here.

You can offer both a face-to-face course and an online contribution. Courses in all languages are welcome!
