Short international lab visits of the European consortium to determine how complex, real-world environments influence brain development (ENVIRO-DEV)

02.11.2023

Funding to support five researchers to conduct short international lab visits to study how environments influence early brain development.

Participants will receive a lump sum of €4000 to cover expenses occurred during the stay. The aim of the missions will be to work with an allotted supervisor to conduct a literature review on how we conceptualise and measure early life environments, how we measure early child-environment interactions, what new measures and automated tools can we use to measure environments and how they influence early development, or on the implications of these findings for policy.

You can spend your time in the host lab any time during the current funding period, which ends October 31st, 2024. However, we encourage you to go late in 2023 or early in 2024, as the further planning of the COST action depends on your results. PhD students or Postdocs at a University or any Institution performing research in a COST full or cooperating member country (are free to apply.
