VDS CoBeNe Office

The VDS CoBeNe office is the core administrative unit that deals with the organization of the PhDs’ dissertation life cycle at the University of Vienna. It is responsible for the doctoral candidates i) admission,  ii) research proposal iii) public presentation of the dissertation project iv) doctoral thesis agreement v) TACS and annual progress reports, vi) submission and review of the dissertation and finally vii) defensio. 

The executive VDS CoBeNe team consists of i) the head and the three vice-heads of the VDS, each focusing on one of the school’s research programs and acting as a (vice-) director of the doctoral study program, ii) a coordinator, who ensures a smooth implementation of the VDS CoBeNe PhD program across disciplines and manages its international visibility, and iii) an organizational assistant as first contact point for doctoral candidates and executing all administrative matters.
