Stefanie Hirsch, PhD candidate of the Vienna Doctoral School in Congition, Behavior and Neuroscience is studying these reactions and their effects on biological and psychological parameters in detail under controlled laboratory conditions. Furthermore, she is investigating the potential of music listening as a low-threshold stress reduction strategy in the daily lives of chronically discriminated women.
