VDS CoBeNe Management

The executive VDS CoBeNe team consists of i) the study program leader (DSPL) and the three vice-heads of the VDS, each focusing on one of the school’s research programs and acting as a (vice-) director of the doctoral study program, ii) a coordinator, who ensures a smooth implementation of the VDS CoBeNe PhD program across disciplines and manages its international visibility, and iii) an two organizational assistants as first contact points for doctoral candidates and executing all administrative matters.

CoBeNe Office

The VDS CoBeNe office is the core administrative unit that deals with the organization of the PhDs’ dissertation life cycle at the University of Vienna. It is responsible for the doctoral candidates and supports i) admission,  ii) research proposal iii) public presentation of the dissertation project iv) doctoral thesis agreement v) TAC meetings and annual progress reports, vi) submission and review of the dissertation and finally vii) defensio. The office also organizes the interdisciplinary courses of the study program and offers various funding opportunities for PhD candidates.
