“The Free Energy Principle: Unified Brain Theory, Scientific model, or something else?” The Free Energy Principle (FEP) is a mathematical model of the mind that was put forward as a unificatory framework for the cognitive and life sciences. In the panel discussion, we will critically examine this thesis and discuss alternative interpretations of the FEP, either as a model template or a model structure.
